So next time it gets cold in December and snows in Australia you can see how the system is trying to maintain a balance will make things look out of whack.

Homeostasis and Climate Change
When you observe weather that seems extreme on a localized basis that seems to be running contrary to the accepted scientific narrative that includes the much ballyhooed Global warming consider a single word. Homeostasis. It represents so very accurately how a system out of whack will try to correct itself. The data shows things we call numbers how numbers are generated by a thing we called temperature. A feature or the climate change or warming is the very visually apparent loss of glaciers. The whipping boy is of course C02 which we can also observe and measure its release by humans. We can measure this as simple as we can measure putting gasoline in our tanks.

Tax Burden
The truly wealthy are smart, or they have smart people managing their money to maximize their roi. When faced with what to do with their investments they can actually choose to make more money or create jobs. If they choose to create jobs in a down economy they might not see a roi for a few years or they could lose money for a few years. If they are smart they invest in the stock market, the bond market where with the proper leverage and manipulation they will create more wealth but they won create jobs at least not here in the United States where labor is expensive.
There are a variety of reasons for this, most of them can be traced to WW2 and our successful labor movement. Since then wages for factory labor soared domestically, farm jobs were replaced by machine labor, factory jobs have been replaced by machine labor, many office jobs have been replaced by tech. In fact it is easy to see how employers want to reduce wage expenses across the board. Economies, national economies are best guided by the carrot. The carrot in this case is tax code and in the form of incentives. Capitalists and free marketeers hate these since it seems like an artificial means to contrive jobs where jobs should be lost or wages adjusted downwards to compete with wage scales abroad.
Nations lose revenue in order for their economies to flourish. If we believe in nations anymore.

The long road to the middle
I have been observing the debate between left and right in this country for about 30 years. The debate has become more heated than it has been. In the late 70s we were face with two real enemies that distracted us from addressing the differences and they were Centered upon the Cold war and the Holy lands. The economy while is dire straits back then the national debt was nothing in comparison to what it is today. But what separates us is out chosen political languages. The left side wants to avoid any non secular language and deal with the policy that can be agreed upon. The Right does not fear invoking god, country, constitution and freedom. The battle of words is asymmetric.
America was founded upon making a deal and now it appears that the right is winning for not doing so.
